We are a community of like-minded families with goals to cultivate, in our students, Godly character and a love for learning. We facilitate an inquiry, independent learning environment, among peers, while providing space for each student to discover and develop his or her passions, skills and giftings.
Our Programs
Learning Day Overview
- Learning Day Enrollment grade level is Kindergarten – 10th Grade.
- Monthly theme based, project fairs.
- Small group peer discussion.
- Drama instruction & monthly alternating clubs.
- Physical fitness.
- & of course lunch time.
- Learning Days end with chapel with a time of worship and Bible ministry.
Strong Start Thursday
Pre-K3 – 7 years old
Every Thursday | 8:30AM – 1:45PM
A Full Day program offering instruction in Literacy, Math, Science, Art, Music, and P. E. We’re offering a PreK-3/PreK-4 Class, K4/K5 class and a 1st/2nd grade class. (1st/2nd grade class is currently WAITLISTED)
Enrollment Guidelines for PreK-4 Program:
- Should be born on or before March 31, 2021.
- Should be able to use the bathroom independently (fully potty trained).
- Should be able to recognize number 1-5 and count to 10.
- Should be able to recognize basic colors and shapes.
- Should be able to hold a pencil as well as be able to cut and paste.
Enrollment Guidelines for PreK-3 Program:
- Should be born on or before March 31, 2022.
- Should be able to use the bathroom independently (fully potty trained).
- Should be able to eat independently.
- Should be able to hold a crayon.

Curriculum Information
There is no curriculum purchase required for this class. Parents are welcome to purchase whatever they want for their at home instruction time. Strong Start teachers use the following for in class instruction:
- Literacy (Reading & Writing) – “All About Reading”
- STEM – Science: “First Enyclopedia of Science”
- STEM – Math: “Right Start Math”

- Annual Fee per Class per Student – $330
- Annual Fee per Student for Lunch/Recess – $180** (see above)
- Annual Fee per Studnet for Aftercare – $180*** (see above)
High School Program
Every Thursday | 8:00AM – 3:00PM
Providing a faith-based, positive, affordable, character and leadership building opportunity for students.
- 30 week program
- August 28, 2025 – May 7, 2026
- Thursdays from 8am-3pm
- Follows RLC break week & holiday schedule.
- Scheduled movie nights & outings to reinforce learning and community.

- 11:30am – History/Debate
- 12:30pm – Lunch

Fee Structure:
- 1st Class – $300/year
- 2nd Class – $250/year
- 3rd Class – $200/year
- 4th Class – $150/year
- 5th Class/Whole Day/year – $1,000
- Electives $300/year
- Fees billed monthly over 9 months .
Additional Cost:
- Parents supply curriculum
- Suppy fee
Fees are evaluated annually as the program costs increase.
Creative Arts
Areas of Instruction:
- Voice Group lessons (ages 8-12)
- Piano: Improvisation / one on one lessons
- Acoustic Guitar Group classes / Beginner Year 1&2, Intermediate, & Advanced
- Drums: Beginner one on one lessons
- Modern Dance Class
Details:
- 1 block is 30 weeks of 30 minutes per lesson.
- No lessons on holiday weeks. (see RLC holiday schedule)
- The lesson schedule needs to be confirmed with our instructor
3rd-8th Grade Curriculum
Science
Science 3rd-7th Grade
The focused science study for the 25/26 semesters will be Physical World using Master Books, which presents God’s amazing world through the study of machines, motion, energy, and technology.
Science 8th Grade
8th Graders have the option to join the HS Physical Science – Apologia class or enroll in the Physical World – Master Books class. The schedules for these classes will coincide.

Writing & Grammar
Writing 3rd-7th Grade Level (IEW)
A program offering instruction in developing skills in the writing process. Using IEW (Institute for Excellence in Writing) materials.
Writing Skills Taught:
Structure, research based writing, creative writing, style techniques, and developing expressive writing as well as use of vocabulary in writing.

Grammar 3rd – 7th Grade
*8th Graders who enroll inIEW Class will have Grammar as well
We will be using the “Growing with Grammar” curriculum.
Writing 8th Grade
8th Graders have the option to join the Lost Tools of Writing – Level 2 or remain in IEW Class.

History
History
3rd-4th Grade History Class will be a structured class using the curriculum, Our 50 States for 3rd-4th Grade where students will learn United States geography.
5th-7th/8th Grade History Class will be a structured class using the curriculum, From Adam to Us by Notgrass History, where students will learn world history from a biblical world view.
The curriculum packages are required as well as the Student Workbooks.
Literature portion is optional and would not be a part of the History Class syllabus.

Art & Music
Art
Students use a variety of mediums including colored pencils, sketching pencils, pen, markers, oil pastels, water color and acrylic paint.
All projects are completed in class.

- Drawing techniques (proportions, lines, shading, shapes, tools, etc.)
- Layering mediums of art (ex. coloring w/ markers, adding layers w/ colored pencils)

Fees
Our mission is to keep our program fees affordable while serving home schooling families. Each program year we adjust fees as little as possible to keep up with our rising operational and team cost.
2025/2026 fees will experience a minor increase due to rising team costs and the need to secure additional program space in the facilities next door. Please take a moment to review the new fees listed below.
