Reach Church exists to see our community in and around Mandeville, Louisiana and Shanghai revived, equipped, activated, cared for and healed in the name of Jesus.

Our mission is to disciple each member in our community to be followers of Jesus, staying revived by the power of the Holy Spirit, growing in revelation knowledge in the Word of God, being planted in Christian community, and discovering how and where to use our God given giftings to serve one another.

Biblical Counseling Ministry
Our counseling ministry is grounded in the authority of Scripture and dependent on the leading of the Holy Spirit. We use the Bible as our sole source of wisdom, instruction, and correction, addressing life’s challenges with loving, honest, and Christ-centered counsel. Our goal is not endless counseling, but transformed lives—new creations walking in repentance, humility, and Spirit-led obedience.
“And the Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the LORD.” Isaiah 11:12

Single Moms Ministry exists to ensure that no single mom walks alone!
2nd & 3rd Thursdays 6:30pm @Reach
Our mission is to encourage single moms in their journey and to support their children by providing a weekly discipleship support group with teachings from the word of God with seasoned successful single moms who have walked through the pain of betrayal, hopelessness and trauma.

We’re reaching our community with the good news of Jesus!
On a monthly basis we go into a number of Senior Living Homes, weekly provide a busing *donkey* ride service to Church, conduct Saturday street and door to door evangelism, as well as many annual larger events.

Do you like to cook, host, serve food and clean dishes…? This ministry is for you.
We serve a free Sunday lunch EVERY week after our main Sunday morning worship service. A team of dedicated cooks prepare meals to serve all who are hungry and want some good ole fashion fellowship. The way we accomplish this and not overwhelm any one person is a brilliant rotation system. One cook team is scheduled once or twice approximately every three months. If you are interested just send us a contact form.

Men’s Ministry
“I desire then that in every place the men should pray, lifting holy hands without anger or quarreling…” 1 Timothy 2:8
Our men’s ministry is active with a number of opportunities to come together weekly and monthly.
Weekly there is Saturday 7:30am Men’s Bible Study and Sunday, after service, a Men’s Recovery Group.
Monthly, on the 2nd Wednesday, is Men’s Night. We eat and fellowship at 6pm until around 645pm. Then we transition into a time of prayer and worship. Different men share their testimony each month and we have a Word ministered. Normally finished around 8pm and then guys linger.
Monthly, on the 1st Saturday, is Serve Morning. Available guys head out around 730am to work on a various serve project normally for single mom’s or elderly but it can vary. We try to pull out before noon.

Children’s Ministry Ages for Sunday Morning Service:
- Nursery: 0-2 years old (sanctuary upstairs)
- Pre-school: 3-4 years old (pre-school classroom in community building)

Mission
Proverbs 22:6 “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.”
Here at REACH Church, our goal is to provide a safe loving environment for the children that come to us and to plant the seed of the gospel in each one of them. Our desire is for every child to be seen, heard, loved, and for them to take that step of dedicating their life to Christ. The children ministry’s goal is not to ‘babysit’ but to disciple. We believe in discipleship for all ages, from a toddler, to a preschooler, to a primary schooler.
Sunday Morning Service Procedures:
Check-In: You will check your child in at the entrance to the sanctuary door. Your child will receive a name tag at the check-in table. When you drop your baby off in nursery you will leave your name and number on the sign-in sheet.
Dismissal: Children 0-4 years old worship with parents for the first two songs and then are dismissed. Babies are brought to the upstairs nursery. Pre-Schoolers will line up at the sanctuary exit door and walk to their classroom with their teacher
Children 5-10 are dismissed at the end of worship. The children will line up at the sanctuary exit door and walk to their classroom with their teachers. Parents are welcomed to walk over with their children. Parents will pick their children up from their classrooms at the end of service.

Youth Ministry
Encounter Youth is a welcoming youth group led by youth pastors Pastor James and Jessie Weidner, dedicated to helping students grow in their faith and build strong, Christ-centered friendships. We offer exciting monthly events on Saturdays, a fun-filled Game Night every 3rd Sunday, and engaging weekly youth services and small groups every Thursday with a mission to provide regular opportunities for youth to have an Encounter with the Lord.
- Weekly Youth Service – Thursday Nights 6-8pm Consists of a youth service followed by break out discussion groups divided by age and gender.

YID partners with parents to raise godly, god-fearing young men and women of God.
What to expect: Mentorship meeting with Pastors, ministry involvement, accountability, and serving in various valuable areas.
A new batch of YIDers begins each September.

Here is some helpful info to prepare
Sunday Worship and more…
- We love to be in the House of God and are not in a hurry to come and go.
- Sunday services begin at 9:30am and 6pm.
- We worship for a long while so feel free to arrive a little later.
- We have a come and go policy… meaning come and go as needed.
- When you pull into our parking lot our Sanctuary is the building on the right.
- You will be kindly welcomed however you come and are dressed.
- Water baptism is held monthly so just let us know.
- Prayer begins in the sanctuary 30 minutes before Sunday morning services.
- An invitation to receive prayer is offered during worship and often times at the end of services.
- Designated Pastors and leaders will pray for your needs at the altar.
- Free Community lunch is offered after every Sunday morning service.
- Ask about our Sunday Pastor’s New Comers Lunch.
- We have Wednesday service 6pm focused on different people groups.
- Groups meet throughout the week. Have a look at our calendar.
Just4Kidz Ministry
- Ours kids (J4K) check-in is at the Sanctuary entrance door.
- Children 0-4 years old worship with parents and then are dismissed at 10am.
- Children 5-11 are dissmissed at the end of worship.
- Designated children workers will escort the children to their ministry spaces. Parents are welcomed to walk their children over.
- New kids get use to this dismissal system after the first couple/few times.
- Children will be dismissed at the end of service directly from their J4K ministry spaces.
- We have lots of families and lots of kiddos so come on.
