A missional focused life is an integral aspect of who we are. Each year we send and sponsor teams to go on these various International destinations with ministry objectives to China, Philippines, South America, and other countries. Our trips focus on evangelism, street ministry, guest speaking, feeding, and investing in relationships we've built over time in these places.

The Weidner’s started their ministry life in Manila, Philippines from 2000 to 2005. In this time life-long, precious relationships were formed that we continue to minister with today. Our Philippine’s trips are in collaboration with Cathedral of Praise. Our time is spent in evangelism, street ministry, feeding ministry, joining International Conferences and guest speaking where sent. Trips to Manila are always like returning home.
We love China! The Weidner’s lived and pioneered in Shanghai from 2008 to 2018. During this time many programs were launched that we continue to support today. Our China trips include leading English clubs and camps, providing music workshops, training parents in workshop settings, visiting historical sites, eating local food, traveling using public transportation, visiting orphanages, emerging in local culture, visiting homes, and more. Our China trips are life changing.
Asia missions and trips are expensive. Since 2020 we have begun planning more affordable, more easily accessible missions trips to destinations that we can get to within a handful or two of hours. So, we have added destinations in Central America to our Mission’s program. These trips can be accomplished for much less time and money. We collaborate with local ministries and Churches to engage in ministry. In 2023 we went to Guatemala, and we sent a team to Costa Rica in April of 2025. 2026 plans are in the making.
In 2026 Pastor James is stepping out into a new ministry responding to the *reminding of the Lord* during revival fires. Prior to being sent to Manila, in 1999, James had a vision of ministering to people with olive skin color and under a tent like structure in a foreign land. Eight months later he landed in the Philippines only to hear the same vision given to the Pastor the night before. Knowing this was the confirmation of the Lord, James’ committed to staying, began his family, and was trained in ministry under The Tent of Praise. Now, 25 years later, James has been reminded and has said *yes (again)* to traveling Internationally to hold crusades and outreaches. In February 2026 Nepal will be the first new destination. Partners are needed as this type of ministry requires more expenses than just airfare and accommodations. There will be venue rentals, local travel, some participant sponsorship of travel and food. The Weidner family lived in China for 10 years and continue to make regular trips back to support the teams and programs. Now, you’re invited to join them on a guided adventure through China! Each tour is hosted by a team of American and Chinese guides, offering both comfort and authentic local insight. You’ll travel the way locals do—by metro, taxi, bus, and on foot—and experience the vibrant Chinese culture up close.

We are always planning and taking trips. If you'd like to join us on one, just let us know. We'll be taking a trip to the Philippines later in 2025, and more opportunities will arise in 2026, as well. We'd love to have you!
We are 100% responsible for the operational cost of all our programs in Shanghai. This includes our Orphanage, English programs, and Community initiative. Our largest expenses is the cost for our team. Teachers running the English programs, Care givers providing care for our babies and Directors overseeing community care.
A Travel Partner is an individual who would like to empower our teams to travel to these different countries for ministry opportunities. Travel cost is often our greatest expense as we are learning how to minimize the on-the-ground cost. Please reach out via the form below.
