Our counseling ministry is grounded in the authority of Scripture and dependent on the leading of the Holy Spirit. We use the Bible as our sole source of wisdom, instruction, and correction, addressing life’s challenges with loving, honest, and Christ-centered counsel. Our goal is not endless counseling, but transformed lives—new creations walking in repentance, humility, and Spirit-led obedience.

“And the Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the LORD.” - Isaiah 11:12

Our goal: is a New Creation, Word Filled, & Spirit Filled & Led life, which means new marriages, restored lives, learning how to hear the voice of God and respond to the conviction of the Holy Spirit effectively eliminating the need for ongoing forever professional counseling.

We employ a Biblical (Nouthetic) Counseling model. Meaning we use the Bible as our only source of guidance and instruction.

2 Timothy 3:16 – All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness.

While we emphasize the Word of God in every session, we pursue the guidance and the gifts of the Holy Spirit to operate.

This also means we are lovingly, confrontational in dealing with the issues of sin, pride, repentance, humility and all other Biblical causes and effects.

All our counselors are trained and submitted under the authority of Reach Church Pastors and will seek wisdom and guidance from such as needed throughout Counseling blocks.

What to Expect:

  • To open and close with prayer.
  • Sessions to last up to 1 hour.
  • To be asked to speak about real issues.
  • To receive Bible reading, prayer, journaling and study home work.
  • Schedules to be made for next session.

Fees

Counseling is a ministry service of Reach Church for members. The first 3 months of counseling is conducted without fee. Beyond 3 months a per session rate of $50 will be charged.

Non-Reach Church members are welcomed, by referral, at the hourly fee is $100 per session.
