Reaching the Northshore For Jesus with the power of the Gospel

Awaken the Northshore is an evangelistic collaboration birthed from the Northshore Revival fires ignited in the hearts of believers across Southeast Louisiana.

Ephesians 5:14 Therefore He says: “Awake, you who sleep, Arise from the dead, And Christ will give you light.”

Our mission is to see the body of Christ collaborate, in boldly preaching Jesus, while keeping the fires of revival burning and spreading the Gospel to the entire Northshore.

We aim to see people real-saved, baptized in the Holy Spirit, disciples being made, and Christians and Churches alike uniting under the same mission of evangelism.

How It Started

In the midst of revival igniting the hearts of many, on the Northshore, LA an evangelism training was planned with Evangelist Jonathan Osteen, at which over 200 people gathered—hungry to be trained and activated. The very next weekend, believers took the streets with the message of Jesus to the local Mandeville Pride Parade, sharing the love of God with compassion and boldness. Our hearts were broken, stirred and fired up. That day and event marked the beginning of a bigger dream: Reach the Northshore for Jesus!

Keeping The Fires Burning

The strategy is to prayerfully target areas of the Northshore, Churches and Leaders to take ownership of certain locations, then plan multiple opportunities each month for Believers to come together, pray, be trained and sent out to evangelize. Every couple/few months larger revival/evangelism events will be scheduled to stoke the flames. Let’s all together keep the fires burning and be about the Great Commission advancing the Kingdom of God.

Join The Initiative

We all have a role to play in reaching the Northshore for Jesus. Whether you’re a pastor, a business owner, Christian leader, worship leader, or a believer passionate for the Gospel—there’s a place for you.

Pastors and Churches are asked to join the mission by assigning a leader representative, owning an area, and join in planning evangelistic outreaches.

Business owners are asked to consider sponsoring an event, covering venue rental, providing giveaways, and team sponsorship.

All Christians and leaders are asked to join in on Prayer and Evangelism days, participate in events, and encourage your Pastor to join in the mission.
